Apologies to my last post, for some reasons the sentences were very much spaced apart, and I am not sure why.
Anyway, yes, yesterday I had seen the shonbrun palace inside and out side, with the beautiful gardens. I also loved seeing the cathedrals and the monuments. St Stephans platz has a great church as well. I also seen that Strauss stature inn the park.( Stads park)
In SchonbrunI took the half an hour tour, and I had the English translation booklet with me.
I have 5 days in Vienna and today I went on a daytrip to Bratnislava, in Slovakia.
We went there by bus, and had a guided tour of the old city. Then we had a lunch together and afterwards we could go take our own time to look around.
I went up to the castle and it had a fantastic view. I also went into the StMartin's church where I met 2 student nuns of the order of mother Teresa( dressed the same) and then we met the cardinal. The church was very beautiful but I didn't take any pictures inside. We went back by river taxi, a fast big boat and it was very comfortable. It was still hot, so the airconditioning was good. I met a lovely lady from the States who lived in Southhaven, Michigan for quite some years and in the area of Grand junction . The views from the boat is great along the river you see lots of little houses where people relax and or fish. Tomorrow( Thursday) Iam going on a daytrip to Hungary, it will be a long day but there is no other oppertunity and I might as well see it since I am in the area.
On friday I am going by train to Prague, there I stay for 5 days. Then its off to Frankfurt to meet up with my cousin. Chau for now. Marianna.

Hi Marianna,
sounds as if you are having a wonderful trip and seeing quite a lot. Your schedule seems to be pretty tight, hope you still get some sleep ;)
Cheers,
Olga
