A DAY IN THE OPEN AIR MUSEUM "ELLERT EN BRAMMERT"

In a nearby village is an open air museum" Ellert and Brammert" to do with the olden days. How the people lived about 150 years ago, and even how they lived 85 years ago. It kind of( in some ways) reminded me of the Tauranga " historic village" of how it used to be and the special days they used to put on.
But check out the link of the open air museum" Ellert and Brammert".
The village is " Schoonoord".
We went there this morning and it was 26 C, and quite humid.
There was a special day today as the society of local history put on a special day where the members were dressed in their traditional clothes of the olden days.
The kids did their clog dansing and songs of old. It brought back some memories of my childhood, as we all learned those songs.
A wedding was re-enacted of those days.
I will add a few pictures of today.
At 3 pm we wanted to go home and it just started to rain, later on in bucketed down, and also a thunderstorm.
Back in time for some rest and doing the photos now.
Enjoy some of the pictures I did today.
Drenthe is a very beautiful province.
