MMMM LEKKER LEKKER!!!!YEAH, YIPPY, I HAVE ARRIVED IN M HOMELAND FINALLY!!!!!
I have had my first stroopwafel and tomato soep and nasi goreng.
My cousin Elly was on the platform to pick me up. I had never met her before but we had emailed for a few years. We discovered each other through a relation in Costa Rica who had done a family tree onn the Diederix family and she got a copy of hat tree, and discovered I am a cousin.( a second cousin). We have emailed for 4 years now and finally I have met her today.
I got a warm welcome and I have a lovely room upstairs in a very cozy little home in Elst.
I already had 2 big streepwafels and tomoato soup and then fried rice with chicken.
We did a bit of a walk through this village and visited the supermarket, which is always fascinating, because the supermarkets here have much more choice than in NZ.
Well, I am going to sleep as I am tired.

En daar stond je dan....in je oranje HUP HOLLAND shirt.
En wat hebben we een hoop dezelfde dingen, dat bleek wel in de loop van de dag.
Kortom, we zullen de komende dagen nog een hoop lol beleven.
Lekker he al die stroopwafels en chocomelk, ik ben nog maar net weer terug, maar ik mis ze wel, die echte stroopwafels ;)
Ja, lekker hollands eten nu, vandaag is het regen, maar we hopen op beter weer in het weekend.
Bel even hoe laat je zaterdag aankomt! Kijken of we je een stukje van Drenthe kunnen laten zien. Tot gauw
