A sceduled river cruise and meeting a lovely couple from Mauritius made the whole trip very pleasant.
They are staying in Vienna and tripping around this area.
They are so nice, I sat with them at the table, and during the cruise, we had a nice buffet style dinner with a chamber ochestra playing.
The girls that played were dresses like the ladies in Andre Rieu's orchestra.
The couple, Jaqui and Bob, came with me to the door of my hostel, to make sure I was going to get there safely, as we had to go on the tube back, they also stayed nearby.
( they were like angels, looking after me)
He is English and she is French.
We have each other's email addresses so we can keep in touch.
We got picked up at 6.15 pm.
The morning before I had gone to Schonbrunn palace to see the history of the Habbsburg dysnasty.
I also saw more churces and monuments.
The weather turned into a massive thundertorm and it started hailing big time.
I had just gone to get some bread from the railwaystation( they have heaps of shops in there and the others were already closed) .
When I got out it started pelting down, hard as.
Loud as thunderclaps too. Pity I didn't have my camera on me then.
Anyway, here some more pictures.
I was very tired today, has an afternoon nap and cooked my own food in the appartment.
I just stayed home today, and rested.
Tomorrow I have a daytrip into Slovakia, starting at 7.15 am.
On a bus trip to Bratslavia.
OK here some pictures of yesterday.

Hello Marianna: Thank you for sharing your story and photos with us. :) The orchestra dressing up like the JSO is a pretty cool.
And Schonbrunn! How long was the tour you took? How long did you stay there? Are there other castles, places you went?
Thanks again,
Sally www.AndreRieuFans.com
